Peggy Duquesnel is an accomplished pianist, vocalist, composer and educator with more than 30 years of professional experience. She has released sixteen albums that have received critical acclaim in the jazz, pop and inspirational markets. She has performed and recorded with such notables as Henry Mancini, Pat Boone, Dionne Warwick, Alan Broadbent, Jeff Lorber, Jimmy Haslip and Ric Braun. Peggy served as keyboardist for the Anaheim Angels baseball team and the Anaheim Ducks hockey team and for the Paralympics Ice Hockey games in South Korea. She has been a featured performer for the Auckland Philharmonic, Disney, Roland, Kawai and many festivals, churches and clubs. Peggy has mentored many piano and voice students from beginning to professional levels.
She has enjoyed teaching and performing music since she was a teenager and began to share her passion for music studies by teaching group lessons to others at her school. Peggy knew at an early age that she would pursue a career in music so she studied music at Fullerton College and then received her Bachelor’s Degree in Music from CSU Northridge. Peggy served as the Director of Jazz Studies and Worship Piano at Concordia University, Irvine for ten years. She also served as Professor of Music at Hope International University for two years. She also has an impressive biography as an artist, performer, educator, composer, producer and arranger.
